Man charged with filming women in Gold Coast change rooms facing 50 new charges

A 30-year-old man charged with allegedly filming three women who were getting changed in a Gold Coast clothing store on Sunday, June 3, is facing an additional 50 charges.
Police arrested the man at the Biggera Waters clothing store on Sunday and charged him with allegedly filming three women getting changed.

The Biggera Waters man will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on June 6 over 51 alleged breach of privacy offences.
He is also facing a count of possessing property suspected of being tainted.
Police investigators are working on identifying the victims who were allegedly filmed and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incidents to contact police.

Man 'filmed women in changing rooms' at Gold Coast, police allege

A man has been charged after women were allegedly filmed as they were changing at a Gold Coast retail store on Sunday. Three women were filmed trying on clothes between 10.30am and 12pm at a Biggera Waters shopping centre. A 30-year-old Biggera Waters man was charged with three counts of making recordings in breach of privacy and was due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on June 18. Police have not been able to identify the women who were filmed and have urged anyone who may have witnessed the incidents to contact police.
