Gold Coast student's film shown at Cannes Film Festival leads to US job offers

A young Queensland filmmaker's life has changed dramatically during the past six months — she has gone from being a film student hoping for any kind of opening in the industry, to having her work screened at the Cannes Film Festival and jetting off to the United States for job interviews.
Hannah Keogh, 20, will graduate from Bond University in less than two months and hopes to secure a job in film sales and distribution in Los Angeles off the back of the contacts she made at the French film festival.

Ms Keogh secured one of the opportunities in Germany and worked in sales and distribution for Electric Entertainment at the Berlin Film Festival in February.
She made such a good impression that the company offered to take her to the Cannes Film Festival as part of their sales and distribution team.
